Job summary

The role reports to the City Engineer and oversees capital and operations programs.

Requirements include a Bachelor's in Engineering or Architecture, five years of senior leadership experience, and professional licensure (PE or Architect) with Colorado registration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Architecture.
• Five years of engineering leadership experience, including director-level management.
• Registration as a Professional Engineer (PE) or Architect in Colorado (or eligibility).

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for multiple divisions within DOTI.
• Oversee planning, design, construction, operations, and maintenance across citywide infrastructure.
• Drive modernization, performance management, and financial stewardship.
