Job summary

The Maison Group | Real Estate Executive Search is seeking a Senior Development/Construction Manager/Vice President to lead multifamily project execution from entitlements through lease‑up in the Charlotte, NC region. You will coordinate with executives, consultants, city officials, and leasing teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Ideal candidates bring 6+ years in commercial development management, strong scheduling, budgeting, and reporting skills, plus familiarity with ADA

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Business or equivalent from a 4‑year college program.
• Typically 6+ years of commercial development management experience.
• Ability to analyze complex documents (geotechnical, environmental, drawings, venture documents).
• Knowledge of construction practices, ADA Title III, contract laws and project controls.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, property managers, city officials, leasing teams and tenants.
• Lead planning, milestones, schedules and reporting to senior leadership.
• Support predevelopment due diligence, budgeting and permitting activities.
• Oversee development execution with general contractors and consultants.
• Coordinate close-out, occupancy, warranties, and final documentation.
