Job summary

Eventus WholeHealth in Indianapolis seeks a Chair of Behavioral Health to lead psychiatry, psychotherapy, and behavioral health integration across long-term care facilities. You will balance strategic oversight with hands-on clinical work and report to the Chief Medical Officer.

This role emphasizes governance, quality improvement, and collaboration with APCs, physicians, and facility staff to advance an outcomes-centered care model while supporting clinician wellbeing and organizational growth.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience with direct people management responsibilities.
• Experience in geriatric psychiatry or long-term care settings.
• Proven track record in clinical quality, operations, and financial results.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary behavioral health teams.
• Experience in value-based care and population health environments.
• Certification in Medical Direction (CMD) or similar LTC specialty.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction and clinical leadership for all behavioral health services.
• Establish and maintain evidence-based clinical standards and quality expectations.
• Lead quality improvement initiatives and monitor clinical outcomes and metrics.
• Serve as senior clinical resource for complex behavioral health issues.
• Champion integration of behavioral health with primary care and other service lines.
• Develop strategies to strengthen collaboration among clinicians, facility staff, residents, and families.
• Supervise Directors and lead recruitment, engagement, and professional development.
