Job summary

Eventus WholeHealth is seeking an exceptional leader to serve as Chair of Behavioral Health. This role provides strategic clinical leadership and operational oversight for psychiatry, psychotherapy, and behavioral health integration in long-term care settings.

You will champion an integrated care model, partner with multidisciplinary teams, and report to the Chief Medical Officer, guiding clinical quality and clinician well-being across the organization.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required.
• Board certification in Psychiatry with active, unrestricted license.
• 10+ years of progressive clinical and leadership experience.
• Demonstrated leadership with direct people management responsibilities.
• Experience in geriatric psychiatry, long-term care, skilled nursing or assisted living.
• Proven experience managing clinical quality, operational performance and financial results.
• CMD or similar long-term care certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction and clinical leadership for all behavioral health services.
• Establish and maintain evidence-based clinical standards and quality expectations.
• Lead quality improvement initiatives and monitor outcomes and metrics.
• Serve as senior clinical resource and escalation point for complex issues.
• Champion integration of behavioral health with primary care and other services.
• Direct supervision of psychotherapy and BH integration leaders; succession planning.
• Lead recruitment, retention, engagement and professional development.
• Foster a culture of clinical excellence and clinician well-being.
