Sound Transit is seeking a Deputy Chief Information Officer (DCIO) to lead the IT Leadership Team and shape the enterprise IT strategy. The role reports to the CIO and ensures alignment of IT initiatives with organizational goals, while managing cross-functional governance and budgeting.

This executive position requires extensive leadership experience, IT governance expertise, and a proven ability to drive large-scale IT programs and enterprise systems within a hybrid work environment.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Management, Information Systems, Engineering, or closely related field.
• Ten years experience in senior IT positions including; Or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Eight years of leadership, budgetary, planning and workforce management experience.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the IT Leadership Team with direction, coordination, and coaching across cross-functional experts.
• Serve as a senior advisor to the CIO and as a delegate in executive forums when needed.
• Build strategic relationships across departments for cross-department planning and coordination of business needs.
• Coach, train, and motivate staff; manage employee relations.
• Develop IT strategy, roadmap, and plans; communicate across IT and stakeholders.
• Participate in enterprise-wide strategy for information and technology contribution to business success.
• Oversee IT operating model, roles, structures, and delivery approaches.
• Oversee budget development, cost transparency, chargeback principles, and IT investments benefits.
