Job summary

The City of Doral offers an Executive Internship Program designed for students and recent graduates to gain first-hand exposure to local government. The internship provides structured projects aligned with educational goals and mentorship from experienced administrators.

Participants will work up to 28 hours per week, with a schedule set to accommodate academic commitments. Applicants must meet minimum education requirements and pass standard screenings as part of the application process.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and have a High School diploma or GED.
• Student actively enrolled or a recent graduate with GPA 3.0+.
• Must possess a valid Florida driver’s license or state ID and pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Gain hands-on experience handling diverse community services projects.
• Interact with executive staff and officials on high visibility tasks.
• Provide clerical support and data entry for department records.
• Prepare reports using Microsoft Office and basic programs.
• Assist with planning, setup, and cleanup of City events.
• Support City employees and vendors to complete projects.
