Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Provides technical guidance on state personnel statutes and regulations related to personnel.
  • Assists with disciplinary and corrective actions by gathering information and ensuring compliance.
  • Monitors reports to resolve errors and ensure compliance with applicable guidelines.
  • Oversees background check process and collects fingerprints of staff following HSPD-12 procedures.
  • Issues badges and PIV cards granting access to the Social Security database.
  • Serves as liaison regarding SSA investigations and suitability reviews.
  • Serves on the Commissioner's management team.
  • Prepares personnel-related correspondence for the Commissioner's signature.
  • Acts as liaison between the department and the Division of Human Resources Management on Cabinet actions.
  • Monitors employee and management relations to ensure efficiency and alignment with performance goals.
