Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; master's may substitute for one year of experience.
• One year of experience in reviewing, monitoring, determining eligibility for, and/or administering employment service or unemployment insurance programs, or related fields.
• Ability to substitute education for experience as described.

Responsibilities

• Provides assistance to job seekers in need of services. Makes referrals to partnering agencies and performs case management and follow-up services.
• Assists customers in developing leadership skills and planning career moves. Develops employability plans based on vocational aptitudes, interests, and work experience.
• Works with employers to promote the benefits of employment services and to solicit potential job opportunities for employment service participants. Assists employers with developing job orders and makes job referrals. Keeps a daily log of services.
• Works in resource room assisting customers with ID.me as well as address questions and concerns.
• Administers aptitude tests and determine clients' interests, talents, overall job qualifications or training needs. Conducts workshops for job seekers to assist with job search skills, resume writing, and interview assistance.
