Job summary

Highgate Hotels is seeking a Housekeeping Manager for Stanford Court, a celebrated Nob Hill property in San Francisco. The role involves leading housekeeping operations, maintaining cleanliness standards, and ensuring guest satisfaction across 393 rooms and public areas.

You will oversee staff, conduct training, manage schedules, and collaborate with other departments to uphold Highgate Hotel standards and safety procedures in a fast-paced luxury environment.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of progressive experience in a hotel or related field; or a 4-year college degree; or a 2-year college degree and 1+ years of related experience.
• Supervisory experience required.
• Must be proficient in Windows, Company approved spreadsheets and word processing.
• Long hours sometimes required.
• Medium work – lifting up to 50 pounds and up to 20 pounds repeatedly.

Responsibilities

• Attend weekly staff meetings and provide training on a rotational basis.
• Balance and clear room status nightly; compare reports and resolve discrepancies.
• Respond to guest requests, problems, complaints and accidents with courtesy and efficiency.
• Maintain inventory and ordering of housekeeping supplies.
• Assist Director of Housekeeping in inspecting VIP rooms prior to arrival.
• Ensure compliance with corporate standards and SOPs.
