Job summary

Newport Hospitality Group is seeking an Executive Housekeeper to lead our housekeeping team in a busy hotel setting in Mount Laurel, NJ. You will guide staff, manage schedules, and ensure rooms and public areas meet our high cleanliness standards that guests notice and remember.

As part of Living Hospitality, you’ll coach, train, and motivate a team, optimize inventory, and collaborate with hotel leadership to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping leadership experience in hospitality preferred.
• A strong eye for cleanliness, presentation, and attention to detail.
• The ability to lead, train, coach, and motivate a team.
• Experience with housekeeping operations, inventory, and supply management.
• Strong organization and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• A hands-on leadership style and willingness to jump in when needed.
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays based on hotel needs.

Responsibilities

• Review arrivals, departures, VIPs, staffing, and priorities each day.
• Set up the housekeeping team for success and ensure the hotel is guest-ready.
• Inspect guestrooms and public areas; manage schedules and supplies.
• Coach and develop team members; recognize great work; jump in when needed.
• Balance training, preventive cleaning, and process improvements to improve efficiency.
• Keep the hotel running smoothly and contribute to a memorable guest experience.
