Job summary

Highgate Hotels in Chandler seeks an Executive Housekeeper to lead the Housekeeping department, ensuring guest satisfaction, safety, and cost control. You will train staff, enforce Highgate SOPs, and maintain cleaning programs and inventory while coordinating with engineering and other departments.

The role requires strong supervisory skills, hospitality knowledge, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment; long hours may be required.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of progressive hotel housekeeping experience, or a 4-year college degree with 1 year related experience.
• Supervisory experience required.
• Must be proficient with MS Word and MS Excel.
• Long hours sometimes required.

Responsibilities

• Motivate, coach, counsel and discipline all Housekeeping personnel according to Highgate Hotel SOP's.
• Establish and maintain a regularly scheduled cleaning program and maintain a detailed checklist for each position.
• Maintain and control all housekeeping equipment and inventories.
• Balance and clear room status nightly; compare PMS reports and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare employee schedules according to forecast and productivity requirements.
• Review Housekeeping staff's worked hours for payroll and submit to Accounting on time.
