The Executive Housekeeper is responsible for overseeing and directing the daily operations of the housekeeping department to ensure a clean, well-maintained, and inviting environment for all guests. This role includes managing team performance, implementing high cleanliness standards in line with Marriott brand requirements, and delivering exceptional customer service.
Establish and implement housekeeping operating procedures and cleanliness standards
Plan, organize, and oversee daily operations of housekeeping supervisors and their teams
Prepare weekly work schedules and ensure adequate staffing levels to meet business needs
Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure compliance with brand and safety standards
Manage all aspects of housekeeping HR functions, including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and employee development
Collaborate with other hotel departments to support smooth guest operations and room readiness
Maintain housekeeping inventory and supplies, monitor usage, and place timely orders
Develop and manage the departmental budget, ensuring cost control without compromising quality
Handle administrative tasks including payroll, reporting, and operational documentation
Respond to guest feedback and resolve service-related issues with professionalism and urgency
