Job description

Our client is a wealth management platform, who is seeking a self-directed Executive Housekeeper to take full ownership of the home’s overall cleanliness, organization, presentation, and day-to-day functionality. This individual will support a group of 11 engineers living and working full-time in this shared live/work residence, ensuring the environment remains clean, stocked, organized, and consistently guest ready. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, anticipates needs before they arise, and takes pride in maintaining a high standard without requiring hands-on management.

Please note this is an onsite, temp-to-perm role based in Atherton, CA. Pay will be $55-$58/hr.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning and upkeep of all common areas, bedrooms, bathrooms, and workspace areas
• Maintain organization and order throughout the home
• Ensure the property is always guest-ready
• Oversee laundry and linen management
• Manage kitchen cleanliness and organization
• Monitor and restock household supplies, pantry items, and essentials
• Maintain inventory systems to ensure nothing runs low
• Welcome guests and ensure a polished, comfortable environment
• Prepare spaces for meetings or gatherings as needed
• Coordinate and oversee vendors for maintenance, repairs, landscaping, and deep cleaning services
• Proactively identify and address maintenance issues
• Serve as the on‑site point of contact for service providers

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of professional housekeeping experience, preferably in a private residence, executive home, boutique hospitality setting, or similar environment
• Experience maintaining large homes (5,000+ sq. ft. preferred) with high daily usage
• Proven ability to work independently and take full ownership of household cleanliness, organization, and upkeep
• Experience supporting multiple adults living full-time in a shared residence
• Strong knowledge of cleaning best practices, products, and care for high-end surfaces and furnishings
• Experience coordinating with vendors (maintenance, repairs, deep cleaning, landscaping, etc.)
• High level of discretion and professionalism; able to work in a confidential environment
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to anticipate needs before being asked
• Flexible schedule with the ability to adjust hours as household needs fluctuate
