Township High School District 214 seeks a seasoned educational leader to serve as principal of Prospect High School. The role oversees total school operations, drives achievement, and leads the district's Strategic Plan to elevate student outcomes.

The successful candidate will collaborate with district leadership, manage budgets, ensure safety and equity, and promote a strong instructional culture across the school.

Formación

• Master's degree in educational leadership or education administration.
• Minimum of three to five years of secondary administrative experience.
• Professional Educator License with General Administrative Endorsement (Illinois).
• Evaluators' Academy coursework to qualify to evaluate teachers and staff.

Responsabilidades

• Promotes a school climate with high expectations for students and staff, enabling effective instruction.
• Maintains consistency among achievement goals, learning objectives, and instructional practices.
• Collaborates with central and building administrators to evaluate and improve programs.
• Tours the school, visits classrooms, and meets with teachers to improve instruction.
• Maintains high visibility by engaging with students and presiding over school ceremonies/events.
• Partners with community organizations to strengthen district-school collaboration.
• Performs other tasks as assigned by the Superintendent.
