Job summary

WellSpace Health is seeking the Vice President of Health Informatics to provide executive leadership for the organization's enterprise health information, clinical technology, data reporting, and digital collaboration strategy. The role leads OCHIN Epic adoption, analytics, and governance, aligning systems with patient-centered care, operational efficiency, and financial stewardship.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in health informatics, information systems, computer science, healthcare administration, public health, business administration, or related field.
At least five years of progressively responsible healthcare IT experience.
Experience leading an electronic health record environment; Epic experience strongly preferred.
Experience in a Federally Qualified Health Center or community health setting preferred.
Expertise in data governance, BI, reporting, interoperability and workflow optimization.
Able to lead multidisciplinary teams and communicate complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred credentials may include CPHIMS, CHCIO, PMP, Epic certification or Microsoft certs.
Must have valid driver's license and travel ~30%.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute a multi-year health informatics and digital systems roadmap.
Lead governance for EHR/ Epic environment and related platforms.
Develop enterprise data analytics strategy and dashboards.
Enhance security, privacy, and business continuity of clinical systems.
Oversee budget, staffing, and professional development in informatics.
Partner with clinical and operational leaders to standardize workflows.
