Job summary

La Red Health Center Inc is seeking a Finance Director to lead the organization’s financial strategy, risk management, and regulatory compliance to support mission-driven, patient-centered care for underserved communities.

You will oversee budgeting across clinical sites, grant accounting, HRSA compliance, revenue cycle, audits, and a growing finance team, ensuring strong internal controls and strategic financial planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration; MBA preferred.
• CPA designation preferred.
• 5–7 years progressive healthcare finance experience.
• FQHC or community health center experience preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Strategic planning with CEO, leadership, and board to set financial goals.
• Forecasting, modeling, and capital project planning for growth.
• Prepare monthly financial statements for the Board of Directors.
• Ensure HRSA 330 grant compliance and UD S financial tables.
• Oversee grant accounting for federal, state and private funds.
• Maintain internal controls for 340B and Sliding Fee programs.
• Lead revenue cycle improvements with billing; monitor PPS/APM rates.
• Manage annual budgeting across clinical sites and departments.
• Coordinate annual audits, single audits, and IRS Form 990.
• Recruit, train, and supervise finance and billing staff.
