Job summary

Gilmer Warehouse & Logistics is seeking a strategic General Manager to lead the Cochran, GA distribution and contract packaging operation, overseeing a 500,000 sq ft facility serving multiple major customers.

This executive role includes full P&L ownership, budgeting, safety, quality, and continuous improvement, with relocation assistance possible and a clear path for growth within the organization.

Qualifications

• Proven General Manager or senior operations leadership experience.
• Experience owning facility P&L and driving profitability.
• Experience leading large-scale warehouse, logistics, contract packaging operations.
• Strong labor planning and workforce management skills.
• Hands-on leader with floor presence and urgency.
• Ability to develop managers and build high-performing teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead all warehouse, contract packaging, shipping, receiving, and inventory operations.
• Own site-level financial performance including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, labor management, and margin improvement.
• Lead and develop managers, supervisors, and frontline teams with accountability and continuous improvement.
• Ensure exceptional customer service while balancing operational execution and profitability.
• Drive safety, quality, inventory accuracy, compliance, and operational excellence.
• Utilize KPIs and data-driven decision making to improve productivity and performance.
• Partner with Finance, Sales, Supply Chain, Quality, Maintenance, and customer stakeholders to support growth.
