Job summary

Gilmer Warehouse & Logistics in Cochran, GA is seeking a strategic General Manager to lead a 500,000 sq ft distribution and contract packing operation. You will oversee warehousing, production support for multiple accounts, and drive performance across safety, quality, inventory, and customer service.

Reporting to the Operations Director, this executive role offers full P&L ownership, relocation assistance, and a clear path for growth within Gilmer's expanding footprint.

Qualifications

• Proven General Manager with P&L ownership experience.
• Experience leading large-scale warehouse, logistics, manufacturing, or co-pack operations.
• Strong labor planning and workforce management skills.
• Hands-on leader with a sense of urgency and accountability.
• Track record of driving process improvements and change.
• Experience partnering with multiple functional teams to drive growth.

Responsibilities

• Lead all warehouse, contract packaging, shipping, receiving, and inventory operations.
• Own site-level financial performance including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, labor management, and margin improvement.
• Lead and develop managers, supervisors, and frontline teams while creating a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Ensure exceptional customer service while balancing operational execution and profitability.
• Drive safety, quality, inventory accuracy, compliance, and operational excellence across the facility.
• Utilize KPIs and data-driven decision making to improve productivity, efficiency, and overall business performance.
• Partner with Finance, Sales, Supply Chain, Quality, Maintenance, and customer stakeholders to support business growth.
