Job summary

Alpaca, a US-headquartered brokerage infrastructure leader, seeks a Director of Global Corporate Actions to own the function across U.S. and international markets.

You will oversee daily production, supervisory controls, incident management, and the scalable operating model required to support rapid growth. You will lead a team across dividends, splits, mergers, elections, and other lifecycle events, building a robust control framework with maker-checker standards and cross‑functional

Qualifications

• 8+ years in Corporate Actions within a broker-dealer, clearing firm, custodian, bank, or similar financial institution.
• Experience leading a Corporate Actions or securities operations function.
• Strong knowledge of mandatory and voluntary Corporate Actions and related lifecycle events.
• Experience with U.S. market infrastructure (DTCC/DTC) and international actions across multiple markets.

Responsibilities

• Lead Corporate Actions across mandatory and voluntary events globally.
• Establish and enforce supervisory framework, maker-checker standards, and evidence of review.
• Own incident management from containment to permanent remediation.
• Partner with Product, Engineering and Operations to improve front-to-back controls and automation.
• Drive reconciliation, observability, and tooling to reduce manual processing.
