Job summary

Stanford Medicine Children's Health is seeking an Executive Director of Financial Planning & Analysis to own the operating budget, long-range financial plan, and board-ready reporting. You will partner with strategy, service lines, and operational leaders to align financial goals with care delivery.

The role oversees labor productivity analytics, external benchmarking, and new reporting to reveal enterprise performance and efficiency.

Qualifications

• 10 years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis, healthcare finance, or related discipline.
• 5 years of senior leadership experience.
• CPA, CFA, or FHFMA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own the operating budget process from design to executive reporting.
• Lead the three-year savings initiative ($230M) with tracking and validation.
• Update long-range financial plan and align with strategy and operations.
• Oversee labor productivity reporting and benchmarking.
• Prepare financial updates for the Board of Directors.
