Job summary

Abacus Group, LLC is seeking a Vice President of Shared Services FP&A to lead budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting from our Manhattan, NY office. You will drive accuracy, timeliness, and insight for senior leadership.

In this role, you’ll optimize workflows, champion AI and automation initiatives, redesign processes, and implement scalable planning and reporting tools in collaboration with cross‑functional partners.

Qualifications

• 6-8 years of FP&A and corporate finance experience.
• Experience in shared services, corporate functions, or back office finance.
• Experience improving manual financial workflows using AI and automation, documenting processes, or implementing scalable planning/reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Support Shared Services FP&A activities, including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, variance analysis, and cost center management.
• Maintain allocation methodologies, supporting data, governance processes, and recurring management reporting.
• Evaluate existing workflows to identify opportunities for automation, stronger controls, and process standardization.
• Champion AI and automation initiatives through workflow redesign, reporting enhancements, template development, and prompt engineering.
• Document finance processes, identify operational improvements, and prioritize scalable solutions.
• Enhance executive reporting and management analytics by improving consistency, efficiency, and actionable insights.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to implement sustainable process improvements across Shared Services.
• Train users on new workflows, maintain process documentation, and support adoption of enhanced operating procedures.
