Job summary

The Phoenix at Opelika is seeking a Food and Beverage Director to lead and manage all dining operations in the community, ensuring quality, safety and wellness aligned with Phoenix standards.

Responsibilities include menu program leadership, budgeting, procurement, staff training, and delivering exceptional resident dining experiences while coordinating with the Executive Director and community team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a culinary institute preferred.
• Current Food Services Sanitation Certificate.
• Knowledge of nutrition and therapeutic diets.
• 2–3 years’ chef/cook experience; leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage dining operations per Phoenix standards.
• Ensure safe food handling and sanitation in dining areas.
• Prepare menus and coordinate with ED for events and programs.
• Monitor inventory, production sheets and quality of foods.
