Job summary

Atria Senior Living, Inc. is seeking a Dining Services Leader in Newport Beach, CA to oversee high-quality dining venues, staff development and budget management. You will ensure safe, compliant food handling and coordinate menus that align with resident preferences and financial targets.

The role requires 5–7 years of food and beverage leadership experience, ServSafe certification, and a strong focus on teamwork and operational excellence within a hospitality-forward environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Culinary degree preferred.
• 5–7 years progressive experience in Food and Beverage operations, preferably in a hotel setting.
• 2+ years of food service management experience.
• ServSafe or equivalent food safety certification.
• Strong organization and time management skills.
• Ability to manage budgets including food, supplies and labor.
• Experience with banquets or special events.

Responsibilities

• Provide high levels of customer service and create first-class dining venues.
• Ensure food is purchased, stored, prepared and served in accordance with local, state, and federal guidelines.
• Interview, hire, coach, train and develop staff, including evaluations and discipline per company guidelines.
• Create a strong sense of teamwork among staff.
• Prepare and coordinate staff schedules in line with budget.
• Fully implement and execute the Art of Atria Dining.
• Manage the food service budget and analyze expenditures.
• Plan, write, and execute menus and recipes based on resident preferences and budget.
