Job summary

Pilot Assessments seeks an experienced Operations Leader to serve as the primary executive travel operations lead, ensuring safety, discretion, and efficiency under the Chief Pilot. Responsibilities include championing FAA compliance, managing risk within the SMS framework, mentoring flight crews, and maintaining rigorous crew qualifications and records.

The role requires long travel readiness, domestic and international operations, and residency within an hour of KROC.

Qualifications

• Current FAA ATP certificate and First Class Medical.
• 4,000 total flight hours with 2,500 hours as PIC.
• 4–6 years in aviation experience.
• At least one jet type rating; recent simulator training in the jet type within 12 months.
• Ability to support domestic and international operations and be away from home for extended periods.
• Valid U.S. Passport and valid Driver’s License.
• Residency within one hour of KROC.
• Successful background investigation and pre-employment drug screening.
• Expertise in Aviation Operations Manual, training manuals, SOPs, and civil aviation regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead operational activities as delegated by Chief Pilot, ensuring safe, discreet executive travel.
• Champion FAA compliance and safety standards across operations.
• Support SMS and risk management, including incident reporting.
• Mentor pilots and flight crews; assist with training programs and standardization.
• Monitor qualifications, certifications, training currency, and readiness; assist onboarding and development.
• Improve procedures and SOPs to enhance safety and passenger service.
• Coordinate with Scheduling, Maintenance, and flight operations for mission success.
• Maintain accurate pilot records; assist with audits and regulatory reviews.
