Job summary

Gilead is seeking a Captain - Large Cabin to serve as Pilot in Command for domestic and international flight operations, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient operations across the globe.

You will lead flight crews, oversee flight preparation, and maintain all FAA certifications while delivering a premium travel experience for executives and guests. Relocation within 2.5 hrs of San Jose, CA or willing to relocate may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with 8+ years' experience or Master's with 6+ years.
• FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate required.
• Current FAA First Class Medical certificate required.
• Current type rating in at least one Gilead Flight Dept aircraft or ability to obtain on hire.
• Total flight time 5,000+ hours, PIC 3,000, 2,000+ multi-engine turbine.
• Gulfstream experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Pilot in Command for domestic and international flight operations.
• Lead flight crews and promote CRM and a safety culture.
• Plan and oversee flight preparation, weather, fuel, and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain FAA certificates, ratings, medical, and training; ensure currency.
