Job summary

AXIS Capital is seeking a Head of Finance Transformation to lead the modernization of Finance processes, data, and technology. The role reports to the CFO and collaborates with FP&A, Controllership, Treasury, Investor Relations, Risk, and BTS to deliver a multi-year transformation roadmap.

The position requires a senior leader who can align stakeholders, drive governance, and ensure value realization while maintaining regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• In-depth expertise in Finance transformation, including operating model design, technology enablement, and governance.
• Proven ability to advise executive and senior Finance leaders with enterprise impact.
• Experience leading large-scale transformation in regulated, global settings.
• Strong judgment balancing ambition with risk and control.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders without direct execution ownership.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain the Finance Transformation strategy, roadmap, and target operating model.
• Advise the CFO on transformation investment, capability development, and modernization priorities.
• Shape and coordinate Finance technology, data and analytics roadmap with BTS, Risk, and Data.
• Lead governance for the Finance transformation portfolio and allocate resources effectively.
• Build alignment on the target operating model and adoption of future-state processes.
• Oversee major programs, ensuring regulatory compliance and realized benefits.
• Evaluate operating structures and capability requirements to support future priorities.
• Develop and enhance Finance policies and governance frameworks for efficiency and scalability.
• Represent Finance transformation in senior leadership forums.
