Palmdale Regional Medical Center in the Antelope Valley is recruiting a Program Director to lead our Family Medicine residency, joining the Southwest Healthcare Medical Education Consortium. The position is a .7 FTE with the remainder in clinical practice, options in FM clinic or hospitalist.

You will drive accreditation, oversee curricula and rotations, and lead resident interviews and evaluations. You will provide leadership, mentoring and teaching to residents, partner with hospital staff for

Qualifications

• Current board certification by the ABFM or AOBFP.
• 3+ years of recent PD, APD or core faculty experience.
• Demonstrated ability as a leader, educator, and clinician.
• History of scholarly activities/research.
• Membership or committee work in FM professional associations.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the quality of education, curricula, and experiential rotations.
• Lead the interview, selection, and evaluation processes of residents.
• Provide leadership, mentoring, teaching, and administrative oversight to residents.
• Partner closely with hospital and medical staff to ensure effective integration within the organization.
• Responsible for continued program development and maintenance of accreditation in adherence with ACGME requirements.
