Job summary

The Contractor Consultants is seeking an Estimating & Operations Director to lead the estimating, project execution, field operations, and performance analysis. You will partner with ownership to drive profitability, optimize processes, and deliver high-value projects in a fast-paced environment.

The role demands senior leadership across estimating, project management, and operations, with strong communication and a track record of improving efficiency and profitability in specialty construction.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership in automatic doors, commercial entrances, or related construction.
• Strong estimating ability with labor, materials, equipment costs.
• Deep knowledge of automatic door systems, storefronts, glazing, and hardware.
• Experience with installation, service, inspection, and troubleshooting.
• Familiar with ADA, building codes, fire/safety, OSHA, and compliance standards.
• Proven project management overseeing estimating to completion.
• Experience managing technicians, installers, and office staff.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, and profitability understanding.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Proficiency with estimating software and MS Office.
• Ability to manage multiple departments and priorities in fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee estimating and preconstruction activities.
• Manage project execution, field operations, scheduling, purchasing.
• Monitor budgets, costs, and project profitability.
• Lead, train, and develop office staff, technicians, and subcontractors.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, codes, ADA, and safety standards.
• Provide regular operational and financial reporting to ownership.
• Cultivate relationships with customers, vendors, and inspectors.
