Job summary

Gwinnett County Public Schools seeks a Director of Instructional Technology Solutions to lead enterprise software deployments, learning systems, and cross-divisional digital ecosystems. You will drive change management, vendor liaison activities, and strategic initiatives to improve teaching and learning district-wide.

The role requires strong leadership, advanced degrees in related fields, and a track record of integrating technology in K-12 settings.

Qualifications

• Must hold or be eligible for a valid Georgia Educator's Certificate in Educational Leadership and/or Support Personnel License issued by the Georgia Professional Standards Commission.
• Master's Degree in related field required.
• Specialist's Degree in related field preferred.
• Doctoral Degree in related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership in identifying, evaluating, implementing, and sustaining enterprise software applications, learning management systems, identity/rostering solutions, student digital safety platforms, and digital ecosystem integrations.
• Identify district productivity needs, research technology solutions, and lead cross-divisional deployment of new tools.
• Support cross-divisional development and evaluation of a cohesive district digital ecosystem.
• Direct change management and technical readiness protocols for new enterprise rollouts.
• Direct the ongoing configuration and management of the district LMS (Google Classroom).
• Oversee identity/rostering tools (ClassLink) and student digital safety systems (Securly).
• Collaborate to evaluate and sustain all Instructional Solutions applications.
• Communicate platform initiatives to stakeholders and serve as liaison with vendors.
• Manage department budget and supervise staff; apply CQI principles.
