Job summary

Florida Veterinary Medical Association is seeking an Executive Director to lead a financially strong, nationally respected organization for veterinary professionals in Florida. The role involves overseeing operations, programs, continuing education, and advocacy in collaboration with the FVMA Foundation and FVMA PAC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher required; MBA/JD/DVM a plus.
• Experience leading a membership or trade association is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and large teams.

Responsibilities

• Serve as chief spokesperson for FVMA and represent the association with credibility.
• Lead strategic planning and annual/long-term plans for growth, programs, and public policy initiatives.
• Oversee financial operations, budgets, cash flow, and reporting to the Executive Board.
• Foster a collaborative staff culture and deliver programs, CE events, and member services.
