Stormont-Vail HealthCare, Inc. in Kansas seeks an experienced Nursing Leader for Surgical Services and SPD, guiding patient care and operational excellence.

You will lead a multidisciplinary team, develop budgets, advance Lean initiatives, and pursue Magnet accreditation, reporting to the VP of Patient Care Services.

This role requires BSN, MSN preferred, and at least 5 years of clinical and 2 years of management experience.

Competenze

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited school.
• Master's Degree in Nursing or related field required.
• Current RN license in Kansas (KSBN) required.
• 5 years of clinical experience; 2 years of management experience within the last 5 years.

Mansioni

• Coordinate, integrates, and evaluates functions and activities in Surgical Services & Sterile Processing (SPD).
• Provide leadership, motivate staff, and address conflicts; build a strong team atmosphere.
• Develop cooperative relationships with other departments at Flint Hills and Topeka campuses.
• Communicate effectively with staff and physicians; plan time efficiently and delegate.
• Monitor budgets; participate in annual operating and capital budgeting; ensure cost containment.
• Oversee Magnet designation efforts and quality improvement processes.
• Lead department action plans and ensure alignment with hospital objectives.
