Job summary

SageGrove in Lenexa, KS seeks an Executive Director to lead daily community operations, manage budgets and drive census growth while maintaining high-quality, resident-centered care. You’ll mentor a multi-department team and cultivate partnerships with local providers to advance community success.

The role emphasizes regulatory compliance, financial health, and an engaging, supportive workplace culture across 24 locations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of progressive team leadership experience in healthcare or assisted living.
• Active Assisted Living Administrator license/certification or ability to obtain quickly.
• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration or related field preferred.
• Proven ability to manage budgets and read financial statements.
• Strong communication, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency with common office and industry software (EHR/EMR, CRM, MS Office).
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily community operations and regulatory compliance.
• Manage the annual budget and P&L to ensure financial health.
• Drive census and occupancy through outreach, marketing, and referrals.
• Develop and refine policies to improve efficiency and resident care.
• Oversee facility management for safety and upkeep.
• Lead and mentor multi-department teams and staffing.
• Ensure resident and family-centered care with proactive communication.
• Develop innovative resident activity and wellness programs.
• Build relationships with local providers and stakeholders.
• Represent SageGrove professionally at events and externally.
