Job summary

Harmony Senior Services is seeking an Executive Director for our Dover, Delaware senior living community. You will oversee all operations, marketing, budgeting, staffing, and financial management to ensure high-quality resident care and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities include leading a management team, driving census growth through strong relationships with local groups, and ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with minimum 3 years’ experience as an Executive Director in a senior living community.
• Proven success managing all aspects of community operations including marketing, budgeting, and staffing.
• Strong sales leadership and ability to build relationships with community groups to grow census.
• Demonstrated financial management proficiency and budgeting accountability.
• Thorough knowledge of state and federal regulations affecting senior living operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee hiring practices to ensure compliance with laws and budgetary guidelines.
• Develop and monitor the community marketing plan and occupancy goals.
• Review monthly financials with department heads and prepare variance reports.
• Lead approval process for contracts and oversee capital projects as needed.
• Maintain regulatory compliance and resident relations, including surveys and grievance handling.
