Job summary

Agemark Senior Living in Omaha, Nebraska seeks an Executive Director to lead a new community. You will supervise staff, manage budgets, and work with nursing leadership to deliver exceptional resident care.

The role requires strategic leadership, strong communication, and a commitment to compliance and culture. You will drive occupancy to 95%+, oversee operations and finances, and partner with families and providers to ensure safety and dignity for residents.

Qualifications

Degree in healthcare, business, nursing, geriatrics, or related field preferred.
Prior experience in senior housing, healthcare, or related industry required.
At least 2 years of experience managing staff and budgets.
Proven integrity, sound judgment, and follow-through.
Excellent verbal and written communication with problem-solving instincts.
Comfort with technology, including social media and everyday computer use.
Ability to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed.
Strong relationship-building across teams, residents, families, and community.

Responsibilities

Lead by example on values, priorities, and objectives and engage daily with all departments.
Hire, train, and supervise a high-performing team; mentor department heads.
Drive staff growth through coaching, development plans, recognition, and clear communication.
Run daily stand-ups and regular leadership and staff meetings; address performance issues.
Partner with families and service providers to deliver personalized, safe care.
Own occupancy goals and drive sales, marketing, and community outreach.
