Job summary

Mary Wade Home in New Haven, CT seeks an Executive Director to lead the organization, report to the Board of Trustees, and ensure strategic direction, financial sustainability, and high-quality care for older adults.

The successful candidate will drive occupancy, fundraising, community engagement, and operational excellence while upholding Mary Wade's mission and values. Connecticut licensure preferred; a track record of collaborating with boards and donors is essential.

Qualifications

• Fifteen years or more of progressive senior leadership experience in senior living, healthcare, or nonprofit settings.
• Experience working with Boards/Trustees and leading fundraising initiatives.
• Strong community engagement and donor relations capabilities.
• Track record of driving revenue growth and improving occupancy while maintaining high care standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a strategic plan to integrate operations across care settings while improving organizational effectiveness.
• Drive occupancy growth and revenue enhancement across all service lines.
• Partner with the Board to establish and execute long-term strategic objectives and ensure financial sustainability.
• Provide leadership for all operational, financial and clinical functions and foster accountability and collaboration.
