Job summary

Elwyn is seeking an Executive Director of Risk Management to lead a comprehensive risk program, oversee property and workers' compensation insurance, and manage incident investigations across PA and NJ I/DD services.

The role directs a team of risk professionals, partners with legal and compliance, and ensures regulatory and policy compliance while driving safety and loss prevention across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in risk management, insurance, business administration or related field.
• Minimum eight years of experience with risk financing and risk control for property, casualty, and workers' compensation.
• Industry certifications (ARM/PRM/CSP) are highly desired.
• Minimum five years of strong management experience directing teams.
• Proficient Excel skills (pivot tables, databases, formulas); report-writing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive risk management and safety program.
• Oversee insurance procurement, claims reporting and renewal processes.
• Lead incident management and investigation for PA/NJ I/DD services; ensure timely remediation.
• Collaborate with General Counsel and Compliance to address risk across the organization.
