Job summary

KVC Missouri Residential Treatment Facility in Springfield, MO is seeking an Executive Director of Residential Treatment Services. This role leads a multidisciplinary team, oversees daily operations, and aligns budgets with program goals to support children and families.

The Executive Director will champion trauma-informed care, collaborate with senior leadership, and drive continuous improvement across departments to ensure high-quality outcomes in a complex residential setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience with children in residential/behavioral health.
• At least 4 years in managing a large team or department.
• Preferred: LCSW or LPC license and administrative/executive experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a large, multidisciplinary team across operations, clinical services, education, and staff.
• Oversee daily residential operations ensuring compliance with standards and policies.
• Manage budgets, staffing, and enrollment to support program goals and operational effectiveness.
• Foster a trauma-informed, high-quality care environment for children and families.
• Partner with KVC leadership to evaluate performance and drive continuous improvement.
