Job summary

AADAP is seeking a Residential Services Director to provide executive leadership over the agency's residential substance use disorder programs, including the Therapeutic Community and recovery housing. The role emphasizes clinical quality, regulatory compliance, financial stewardship, and cross-program integration.

You'll lead risk management, workforce development, and community partnerships, with a focus on homelessness and system collaboration in Los Angeles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in behavioral health or related field with 7+ years in SUD settings.
• At least 5 years of supervisory experience in residential or intensive treatment.
• Experience with residential SUD program operations, compliance, QA, and workforce supervision.
• Knowledge of DHCS Title 9, ASAM Criteria, and accreditation standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive leadership and oversight of residential SUD programs.
• Ensure compliance with contracts, licenses, and funding requirements.
• Lead data-informed quality improvement and program development.
• Champion client-centered, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive care.
• Develop workforce, succession planning, and sustainability strategies.
• Advocate for funding, partnerships, and system-level improvements.
