Job summary

Brazos Valley Food Bank in Bryan, Texas, seeks an Executive Director to provide visionary leadership across strategy, programs, operations and finances. You will partner with a diverse Board, engage donors and volunteers, and strengthen community partnerships to advance food access and impact.

Ideal candidates bring 10+ years in nonprofit leadership, a track record in fundraising, and a deep commitment to alleviating food insecurity.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
Experience leading a nonprofit with a Board of Directors.
Proven fundraising and financial stewardship abilities.
Strong communication and public presence across diverse audiences.
Data-driven, strategic thinker with change-management skills.

Responsibilities

Provide visionary and operational leadership for strategy, programs, and finances.
Serve as primary liaison to the Board of Directors and ensure governance accountability.
Inspire staff, engage donors and volunteers, build community partnerships.
Navigate a changing food-insecurity landscape and drive measurable impact.
