JPMorgan Chase & Co. in New York seeks an Investment Platform Quantitative Researcher Executive Director on the Asset Management Investment Platform. You will shape strategy and automation across GFICC asset classes and lead cross-functional projects for our investment platform.

You will provide execution consultancy to clients, collaborate with traders, PMs, and technologists, and build analytics to improve execution quality and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Python proficiency for quantitative research including pandas, NumPy, and visualization tools.
• Experience with tick-level market data and high-performance databases.
• Solid GFICC market knowledge across fixed income and FX.
• Knowledge of algorithmic execution and smart order routing.
• Ability to translate complex outputs for traders and senior stakeholders.
• Experience with Git and code reviews in team-based environments.
• Familiarity with applied ML techniques in trading.

Responsibilities

• Automation of workflows with traders to reduce manual steps and improve speed.
• Lead research into market microstructure, price formation, and liquidity dynamics.
• Advise on execution strategies balancing market impact and costs across liquidity regimes.
• Build dashboards, TCA frameworks, and reporting for performance transparency.
• Coordinate with trading, portfolio management, and technology to deliver analytics solutions.
