Job summary

Austin Police Retirement System (APRS) is seeking an Executive Director to provide strategic and operational leadership for a public retirement system serving approximately 1,600 active members and more than 1,400 annuitants.

Reporting to the Board of Trustees, the ED will lead a seven-person team and oversee financial, administrative, and program performance while building strong relationships with members, city officials, regulators, consultants, and other stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for APRS as Executive Director.
• Report directly to the Board of Trustees and oversee a seven-person team.
• Oversee the System’s operational, financial, and organizational performance.
