Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking an Executive Director of Procedural Supply Chain to lead operations across ORs, Cath Lab/EP, Endoscopy, and related units. You will align procurement, nursing, physicians, and leadership to optimize product standardization, reduce waste, and ensure supply availability for patient care.

The role requires 8–10 years of healthcare supply chain leadership, strong analytics, and LEAN-driven process improvements.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Management, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred.
8–10 years of progressive supply chain and operational leadership experience in a complex healthcare environment.
Experience with perioperative/OR, Cath Lab/EP, Interventional Radiology, Endoscopy and procedural inventory workflows.
Direct multi-site leadership of procedural service lines or cross-functional clinical supply chain programs.

Responsibilities

Direct procedural supply chain operations across ORs, Cath Lab/EP, Interventional Radiology, Endoscopy and other procedural units.
Bridge procurement, perioperative services, nursing, physicians, and leadership to align products and workflows.
Standardize medical products, devices, implants, and equipment with clinician buy-in.
Oversee day-to-day procurement support, inventory management, consignment programs, and distribution.
Create backorder response protocols, high-risk item tracking, and resiliency planning.
Monitor contract compliance, inventory turns, and spend stewardship.
Ensure regulatory compliance and proper storage/handling of supplies.
Lead and mentor supply chain staff and drive LEAN improvements.
