Job summary

California Center for Population Research (CCPR) at UCLA seeks an Executive Director to provide strategic leadership and vision for the Center and MPDS program. You will lead a large team of researchers and staff, engage advisory councils, and represent the Center to policymakers and funders, shaping research and training directions.

The Executive Director will partner with faculty directors, oversee admissions, curriculum, and budget planning, and drive fundraising and resource development,

Qualifications

• Master's degree or equivalent is required.
• Experience leading a large research center or program is preferred.
• Strong communication and policy engagement skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide vision, leadership, and coordination for the Center and MPDS program.
• Oversee research programs, space, budget, and fundraising efforts.
• Write grant proposals and support dissemination and outreach.
• Supervise CCPR and MPDS staff and ensure program operations run smoothly.
• Coordinate with faculty directors, advisory boards, and funders.
