Job summary

The role leads scientific, managerial, and strategic planning for CPCS across California, aligning research priorities with the School of Pharmacy and fostering collaboration with the Department of Clinical Pharmacy.

Qualifications

• PharmD or other pharmacy training/degree.
• Research expertise in toxicology, adverse drug effects, pharmacoepidemiology, or health services research.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and collaborating across stakeholders in a complex healthcare system.
• Strong track record of publications and external funding.

Responsibilities

• Provide scientific, managerial, and strategic leadership for CPCS.
• Develop and sustain a robust extramurally funded research program.
• Unify clinical sites and integrate poison control into UCSF School of Pharmacy.
• Serve as Principal Investigator/Project Director for CPCS contracts and grants.
