Job summary

Liquidia Corporation seeks an Executive Director, Clinical Pharmacokinetics to provide strategic leadership for PK and pharmacometrics across drug development, translating PK principles into development strategies at asset and study levels. This role reports to the Chief Development Officer, collaborating with development and operations teams.

You will guide SAD/MAD, exposure–response, population PK, and regulatory submissions, oversee external vendors, and integrate PK with safety and efficacy

Qualifications

• PhD or equivalent doctoral degree in Pharmacokinetics, Pharmacology, Pharmacometrics, or closely related discipline.
• Extensive experience in clinical pharmacokinetics and/or clinical pharmacology within the pharmaceutical/biotech industry.
• Demonstrated experience developing and implementing PK strategies at asset and study level.
• Strong experience with population PK and pharmacometric approaches and modeling/simulation.
• Experience contributing to regulatory submissions and/or direct interactions with health authorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead integrated PK/clinical pharmacology strategies across lifecycle of drug programs.
• Define key PK questions and establish strategies to answer them at each development stage.
• Translate preclinical and early clinical PK findings into development recommendations.
• Provide strategic input into regulatory documents, study reports, and responses to questions.
• Oversee PK modeling, simulation, and external vendor scientific oversight.
• Ensure integration of PK with safety, pharmacodynamics, and efficacy endpoints.
