Job summary

Piedmont Henry Hospital is seeking an executive leader for Perioperative Services to oversee all functions 24/7, including pre-procedure testing, OR, PACU, GI Lab, Sterile Processing, and Central Service. You will shape policies, quality programs, and budgets for the division to ensure safe, efficient patient care.

The role requires 5 years of progressive management experience and relevant degrees; nursing or healthcare administration backgrounds are highly regarded, with master’s preferred.

Qualifications

• 5 years experience in progressive management/leadership roles required.
• Bachelor's degree specified; Master’s degree preferred for advanced leadership.
• Licensure or certification in clinical specialty preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assumes administrative responsibility for all areas of Perioperative Services on a 24/7 basis.
• Develops policies, procedures, and quality improvement programs for areas of responsibility.
• Develops capital and operating budgets for the Perioperative Services Division.
• Ensures staffing through interviewing, selection, promotions, and staff development; manages evaluations and morale.
