Rent Responsibly is seeking a New Mexico-based Executive Director or Operations Manager to support the NM Short-Term Rental Association. This part-time role will lead membership and revenue growth, member engagement, communications, events, operations, and advocacy.

The ideal candidate is a self-motivated, community-minded professional who can turn strategy into action. Candidates must be NM-based with 2+ years of nonprofit, association, operations, or project management experience.

Additional Areas of Responsibility:

Monitor local news, legislation, regulatory developments, and media opportunities affecting NMSTRA and its members. Additional responsibilities may include campaign development, chapter support, volunteer recruitment, board guidance, and basic financial administration. Qualified candidates may assist with budgeting, reporting, sponsor payments, and governance. Rent Responsibly provides training and technology support.

Other Information/Requirements:

Candidates must be New Mexico-based with 2+ years of nonprofit, association, operations, or project management experience. Ideal candidates are polished communicators, self-directed, organized, tech-savvy, and experienced in membership and revenue growth. Bonus experience includes short-term rentals, policymaker engagement, website management, process improvement, and working with fast-moving remote teams.
