Job summary

CannonDesign seeks a senior leader to build and guide a high-performance leadership team across the Arlington/DC and Baltimore offices. You will shape strategy, drive growth, and represent Living-Centered Design in client engagements and community partnerships.

You will focus on developing business plans, client leadership, and staff development, while ensuring strong collaboration with regional leadership and office branding. Some travel is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required. Master's preferred.
• Minimum of 20 years related experience with proven top-line growth.
• Licensure is preferred.
• Strong communication and leadership skills are essential.
• Business acumen and ability to execute strategy are required.
• Some travel required.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for the Arlington/DC and Baltimore CannonDesign offices, driving growth and top-line results.
• Lead strategy development and execution, engaging staff at all levels to advance opportunities and solutions.
• Act as a leading voice for office branding and Living-Centered Design throughout client and community interactions.
• Develop and implement yearly strategic business plans, engage leaders to participate and champion initiatives.
• Mentor and develop future leaders, ensuring staff growth and engagement.
• Partner with regional leaders to address talent needs and expansion of markets and services.
• Communicate outcomes and directions across the firm and foster collaboration.
