AdventHealth in Zephyrhills, FL seeks a seasoned Nursing Administrator to lead resident care operations. You will ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, monitor quality indicators, and drive performance improvement across nursing staff.

The role requires a Bachelor’s of Nursing, RN license, and prior DON leadership experience. You will oversee staffing, orientation, and ongoing professional development while upholding AdventHealth’s compassionate, faith‑based care standards.

Qualifications

RN with valid license and nursing degree.
Bachelor's of Nursing required.
2+ years in a DON role preferred.
Knowledge of Florida regulations and guidelines.

Responsibilities

Ensures resident care delivery systems meet state and federal regulations and guidelines.
Monitors and analyzes quality indicators, develops action plans, and ensures timely follow‑up on recommendations.
Reviews nursing personnel records and references, and participates in staff evaluations and performance improvement plans.
Validates that licensed nursing personnel have valid and current licenses.
Validates orientation and ongoing staff development for all personnel.
Participates in recruitment, selection, and termination.
Develops and maintains nursing service objectives and standards of nursing practice.
