Job summary

Qualifications

• Terminal degree in health sciences; MD preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years in medical school administration or educational leadership.
• In-depth knowledge of medical school admissions processes (MCAT, AMCAS, ERAS, VSLO, NRMP, USMLE) and background checks.
• Proven ability to lead a major medical school unit and supervise faculty, curriculum, and accreditation.
• Strong leadership, collaboration, communication, and mentoring skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight of student programs and admissions in the School of Medicine.
• Support career counseling, professional development of students, academic advising, and residency planning.
• Allocate resources (funds, space, staff) to ensure program quality and accreditation.
• Serve as a spokesperson for MUSM and uphold its mission across campuses.
